Original artwork by Cristina Gabriela.
In Where Light Finds Me, the horse emerges only partially from darkness, its body constructed through illumination more than contour. Much of the form remains unseen.
The work explores one of the central ideas of Shapes of Light: that visibility does not require completeness. A fragment caught by light can hold the presence of an entire being.
The horse exists between appearance and disappearance, allowing darkness to become part of the form itself.
