Installations
An installation is not placed in a space—it becomes one. Working across immersive environments, sculptural structures, and site-responsive works, Cristina Gabriela transforms architecture into experience. Walls become thresholds. Darkness becomes material. The air between objects carries as much meaning as the objects themselves. Each installation is built from the same questions that run through every work: silence, memory, human presence, and the invisible weight of time. Here, those questions expand to fill a room. A suspended form becomes a held breath. A trace of light, the only certainty in an uncertain space. These works do not ask to be observed. They ask to be entered. The viewer is not before the work—the viewer is inside it.
