Beyond the Game transforms the familiar language of chess into a meditation on power, conflict, and human vulnerability. The installation abandons the logic of victory and defeat to focus instead on those who live beneath the structures created by decisions beyond their control.

A painted landscape rises from a textured platform scattered with fractured chess pieces. Two kings remain standing, facing an uncertain horizon, while broken pawns and silent human figures inhabit the space below. Concrete blocks become fragile architecture, suggesting cities, shelters, or ruins where ordinary lives continue beneath systems of power.

Nothing in the installation celebrates strategy or triumph. Instead, it questions the distance between those who make decisions and those who carry their consequences. The chessboard disappears, leaving only traces of a game whose impact extends far beyond its rules.

Built through painting, sculpture and installation, Beyond the Game invites viewers to consider not the winners of history, but those who remain when the game is over.
