The Way Home

The Way Home captures the quiet poetry of a familiar path—stone steps rising through lush, overgrown foliage toward a half-open door. Created entirely with coffee on paper, the work transforms an intimate architectural moment into a meditation on belonging, return and the beauty of the ordinary.

The stairway does not lead to a grand destination. It leads home. Leaves press close on either side, a small potted plant rests at the base of the steps, and the door stands ajar—as if someone has just passed through, or is about to. The warm monochromatic tones of coffee give the scene a timeless, almost memory-like quality, where light and shadow dissolve into one another with quiet grace.
