The Distance Between Darkness and Light

The Distance Between Darkness and Light is a sequence of four intimate paintings conceived as one indivisible work. Across the series, light changes its form: a distant presence, an opening, a reflection, a vertical passage. Yet the solitary figure remains—small, suspended and confronted by something greater than itself.

The work does not describe a physical journey. It traces an inward movement through uncertainty, silence and revelation. Darkness is not presented as emptiness, nor is light offered as a simple answer. Each painting holds the tension between the two—the moment when one begins to exist inside the other.

The four paintings are sold exclusively as a complete series and presented in individual matte-black floating frames.
