Parallel Universes
Reality is rarely singular.
Every moment contains countless possibilities, memories, and unseen versions of ourselves that continue to exist beyond our perception.
Parallel Universes explores this invisible coexistence through two overlapping landscapes occupying the same physical space. A translucent inner plane interrupts the surrounding environment without replacing it, creating the sensation that two realities unfold simultaneously. Neither dominates the other; both exist in quiet tension.
The distant silhouettes, softened horizon, and reflective water dissolve certainty. Rather than separating one world from another, the painting suggests that our experiences, memories, and imagined futures continuously overlap, shaping how we perceive the present.
Built through subtle layers of acrylic paint and atmospheric transitions, the work invites prolonged contemplation. It does not attempt to explain alternate realities but instead reflects on the invisible dimensions carried within every human life—those that remain unseen yet profoundly influence who we become.
