Where Time Still Waits is a meditation on memory, stillness and the places that remain alive long after we have left them.

An ancient tree stretches across the composition, sheltering two empty swings that hang silently above the water. Painted entirely with coffee on paper, the work transforms a familiar landscape into an emotional space where absence becomes presence and silence becomes a form of remembrance.

Rather than depicting a specific location, the painting invites each viewer to revisit a place that exists only within memory—a place where time seems suspended, where childhood, reflection and longing quietly coexist. Through warm monochromatic tones created entirely with coffee, the work embraces simplicity as a language of permanence.
