Where the Earth Remembers presents a solitary tree standing between darkness and light. Its roots descend into a dense, shadowed landscape, while its branches carry small golden marks resembling memories, constellations or traces of life.
The surrounding landscape does not belong to one identifiable place. Mountain, sky and earth dissolve into one another, creating a world suspended between reality and an inner vision. The tree becomes a silent witness—rooted in everything that has been lived while continuing to reach towards what remains unknown.
This earlier work reveals the beginnings of Cristina Gabriela’s continuing exploration of solitude, memory, light and the quiet resilience of the human condition.
