Mirror of Silence

Mirror of Silence is an original 120 × 90 cm acrylic and mixed media painting on canvas exploring silence not as emptiness, but as a space of reflection and awareness. Suspended within a richly textured field, the luminous circular form becomes a quiet focal point between the visible and the unseen, inviting the viewer into a contemplative encounter where light becomes a metaphor for presence.

Created as part of the Expressions in Abstract collection, this work belongs to an earlier stage of Cristina Gabriela’s artistic journey, revealing the first exploration of themes that would later become central to her contemporary practice: silence, light, memory and transformation.
